Unlike how we’re used to seeing it, the silhouette deceptively appears handmade. The upper is woven in a thick, white thread, wrapping everything from the to the heel. Even the Swoosh and heel tab are built similarly, though they opt for a vibrant orange and blue coloring, respectively. Elsewhere, the tongue, in its neon green finish, is far more standard, while the sole below is part-recycled, evidenced by its subtle speckling.
This Nike Air Force 1 Low gets engulfed in a fully knitted construction throughout the upper which incorporates recycled materials. Crafted with recycled knitted uppers in an off-white hue, the silhouette receives pops of colors via the red-orange panel swooshes, lime green padded tongues and insoles and baby blue heel tabs. Branding can be found on the exposed foam tongue’s logo, which features the swoosh, Air Force 1 and Hemp insignias, the Move to Zero Pinwheel emblem on the insoles, the Air symbol on the midsole and the stitched Nike Air badge on both heel tabs.
Underfoot, Nike’s Next Nature ethos is proven by the speckled rubber midsole, which likely means a portion of it has come from recycled sources. These eco shoes are finished with stitched branding and a tongue calling out its hemp composition, adding a rustic look.
What is the difference between Nike Air Force 1 and AF1 low?
They are pretty much the same shoe. Only difference is the af1 has Air Force one spelled out instead of af1 on the shoe and the midsole is lower on originals.
Why are Air Force 1s so popular?
The classic yet stylish look, proportions, availability, comfort and wearability all factor into the Air Force 1s popularity. Air Force 1s look great with most casual outfits and have a rich history that appeals to sneaker fanatics
