With the introduction of the Jordan Legacy 312 Low “23,” Michael Jordan’s own namesake company honours his exploits and GOAT status. The figure appears in the traditional Chicago Bulls colour scheme as a tribute to Jordan.

This offering of the Jordan Legacy 312 Low takes on a classic Chicago Bulls color makeup as the shoe gets covered in white, black, and red. Its white top is decorated with a black leather toe box, Swoosh, and a heel guard. At the same time, this pair including “23” logos on the lateral side panels, elephant print on the mudguards, and various Nike and Jordan branding throughout the sneaker. Lastly, a white midsole with red accents and a black rubber outsole completes the shoe’s aesthetic.

What is the story behind Jordan Legacy 312?

The 312 is a tribute to Chicago that’s equally inspired by MJ and today’s multi-faceted youth. Its name references the 312 area code of the city, as well as the shoe’s juxtaposition of the Air Jordan 1 and 3. “I wanted the Jordan Legacy 312 to have the sole of the Jordan 3, because to me, that shoe is the foundation of the brand”, Don explains. “The 1s and the 2s were Nikes first. The 3s were Jordans. That’s when the brand became the brand. I’ve always felt that the foundation of the brand is the 3, but it was built on the 1 first”.
